HAAG Residential Roof Inspector Certification
The HAAG Certified Residential Roofs Inspector program is designed to make recipients highly proficient with all major types of residential steep-slope roofs.
While completing the certification, our team members learned how hail and wind interact with roofing, inspection safety techniques, roof area calculations, and applicable codes. They also gained a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing, installation, weathering, hail damage, wind damage, maintenance, mechanical damage, and repair costs for each major roofing type: wood shingle/shake, concrete and clay tile, asbestos, fiber cement, composition, and various synthetic, slate, and metal roofing types. Real-world case studies presented and studied during the certification process made the information vivid and instructive.
